The sixth Summer Institute will take place in Zurich, Switzerland, July 1-7, 2012. Hosted by the Department of Geography at the University of Zurich, the meeting is being organized by Christian Berndt.

Applications
The event is open to early career researchers in economic geography (doctoral students at or beyond the fieldwork stage; postdoctoral researchers in universities, think tanks and research institutes; and lecturers or tenure-track faculty within the first three years of appointment).

Local costs, including accommodation, will be covered, although a participation fee of $250 US will be charged. Travel stipends are available for those in need of financial assistance.
